Year 6 - Banksy Class
Welcome to Banksy’s class page. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and enjoying a wonderful and exciting Autumn Term with you as Year 6.
Things will be different to this term due to the changes because of Covid 19 but that will not stop us from enjoying our learning in a variety of ways.
We have some excellent topics this Autumn Term to really ‘get your teeth into’. World War Two is our history topic which will also link with our English work which will focus on accounts of evacuees and the diary of Anne Frank.
Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday so please do not forget to wear PE kit on these days and wear kit appropriate for the weather on these days.
I am also looking forward to our weekly art lessons and learning about the history of graffiti and the work of Banksy.
PE is on a Monday and Tuesday.
Spelling Tests are on a Thursday.
Times Table Challenge is on a Friday. Maths Whizz is checked on a Friday. You should be doing 60 minutes a week.
You should aim to read every day and record in your reading diary at least three times ready for Friday.
Your PSHE diary homework is due in on a Friday.
GPS homework is due on a Tuesday.
Comprehension Homework is due on Monday.
