Year 6 - Banksy Class

Welcome to Banksy's class page.
In the Summer Term, we will be looking forward to using our school field both through lessons and during playtimes, whist hopefully enjoying the Great British weather!
Although the government have decided there are no SATs tests this year, the children will still be working towards those objectives through some of the following topics.
In Maths, we will be consolidating all that we have learnt so far, then moving on to learning about ratios and algebra.
Our English focus will be story writing, with the theme of ghost and ghouls. We will also be spending lots of time refining our grammar, punctuation and spelling through daily practise.
Through our geography lessons, we will be learning about North and South America. We will compare these two great continents by looking at how populations differ, as well as their landscapes, climates and major cities.
We look forward to all that the summer term has to offer and being together through the whole term.
