Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Oundle Church of England Primary School. 

It is a genuine privilege to welcome you to our school community and to share a glimpse of what makes Oundle CE Primary such a special place to learn, grow and flourish. Whilst our website offers a snapshot of school life, nothing compares to visiting in person, meeting our children and staff, and experiencing the warmth, ambition and sense of belonging that sit at the heart of our school. 

As Principal, I am incredibly proud of our school and the strong values that underpin everything we do. Rooted in our Christian ethos, our vision is to ensure that every child is supported and inspired to be the very best they can be. We believe that every child is unique, with their own strengths, talents and aspirations, and it is our responsibility to nurture these so that all children can flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. 

One of the greatest strengths of Oundle CE Primary School is our deep connection with the local community. We are proud to be at the heart of Oundle, working in partnership with families, local organisations, churches and businesses to enrich the experiences we offer our children. These relationships help create a strong sense of belonging and ensure that our pupils develop a genuine understanding of their role within the wider community. 

Although we are fortunate to benefit from a large and well-resourced school site, we work hard to maintain the close-knit feel of a smaller school. Every child is known, valued and celebrated as an individual. Through our nurturing culture, strong pastoral support and dedicated staff team, we ensure that children feel safe, supported and able to thrive. Our size enables us to offer a wide range of opportunities, whilst our community spirit ensures that no child is ever just a number. 

Our spacious learning environment provides excellent facilities for children from Preschool through to Year 6, supporting a broad and ambitious curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. We also offer wraparound care from 7:45 am to 6pm, to support families and provide continuity for our pupils throughout the day.
