Our new-look library is officially open after local authors Monica Withrington and Justin Davis came into school to cut the ribbon, read to the children and answer their questions about how to become an author.
So much hard work has been carried out by a team of parents, children and teachers and organised by Mrs Clancy. Thank you to everyone!
Each class visits the library at least once a week where the pupils can change the book they want to read at home or read sitting in the library’s comfy new seating areas. Library monitors from Year 6 will oversee the library and are responsible for returning books to the shelves and generally keeping the place tidy.
Both the authors are members of the cooperative group Northants Authors whose members support and encourage each other while introducing their books to people throughout the county and beyond.
