Year 4 - Jemison Class

Welcome to Jemison’s class page.

We have got an exciting spring term planned.

This term we will be learning all about rivers during our geography lessons where we will learn about different famous rivers as well as how our waterways are formed. We will be comparing rivers from around the globe with those in the local area. In science, we will be exploring electricity and will even make our own electric lamp!

In English, we will be exploring a fantasy story based on rivers and writing our own. This will be an opportunity for children to allow their imagination to go wild and use lots of excellent vocabulary which I am particularly excited for.

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday so please do not forget to wear PE kit on these days and wear kit appropriate to the weather on these days.

All about Mrs King

I like to go to the gym and enjoy trying new healthy recipes to give me lots of energy. I do enjoy chocolate too!

I have three children, a dog called Maple and a cat called Tallulah.

I enjoy exploring new places and travelling to other countries when I can, I love to learn about different cultures and trying new foods from around the world (as long as it is not too spicy!)

All about Mrs McCrone

I always look forward to spending time during the holidays with my own four children, two of which are now at university. I enjoy going for long cycle rides or walks with them, listening to live music at different venues and having family barbeques together.

I have 3 pygmy goats called Tulip, Poppy and Bear and 5 hens who always run towards me every morning excited to be given grain before I race off to school.

My favourite food is Chilli and I love making puddings with my eldest daughter. We also love eating our homemade blackcurrant ice cream. It’s the best!
