Our Homework/COVID work Riley/Pwerle Classes

Welcome to Riley and Pwerle's homework page. In addition to routine homework tasks, this page will include all work that has been set by teachers for pupils who need to remain at home owing to the current COVID pandemic.
Maths
Children in Year 5 are expected to complete at least 60 minutes of Maths Whizz each week. On Friday the classes check how many progressions are made each week.
Spelling
Children will be tested every Friday on the spellings they have been set for the week. See opposite.
Topic Project Homework
Children in Year 5 are set a project for either their History or Geography project. See opposite.
In addition to their lessons here in school, we are so proud of our pupils' commitment to their work at home too.
We value the support of parents in this respect and we are keen to give as much information as possible in order for parents to help their children with learning at home.
There are a range of ways we provide help - from a special Foundation Stage interactive diary to our comprehensive guide for parents about children's home learning. There is also a wealth of information from our extensive home learning archive.

Lesson plans and information for our Year 5 pupils and their parents/carers who are working at home during the national lockdown because of the COVID pandemic - from Monday 18th January 2021.
